So Much Beauty in Europe

By Graham McKenzie

If you're heading to Europe this summer, you're in for so many treats. The elegance of ancient cities and splendor of architecture is rich and vast. Virtually every country and local is very accessible by air, there are hardly any limitations. Plan ahead and take into account the many amazing places and sights to take in. From Venice to Rome, and Paris to Greece, you'll have a wealth of places to choose from.

There are many beautiful places to visit and see in Europe, which no traveler should miss. Some of these destinations include: The Roman Coliseum, The Eiffel Tower, The Acropolis, Tower Bridge, La Sagrada Familia, St. Michaeliskirche Church, and Buckingham Palace.

The Roman Coliseum is one can't miss site to explore while you are in Rome. This grand structure was originally an amphitheater with seating for 50,000. Another famous landmark you should not skip seeing is the Eiffel Tower. A famous architectural landmark, at 984 feet, this tower is one of the tallest buildings in the world, and offers a breathtaking view of Paris.

While traveling Europe this summer, you should also visit this important historical site, located in Athens. The Acropolis is an ancient ruins that has amazing views of Athens. While you are there you can also visit the Parthenon. Be sure to go early in the day or later in the afternoon when it cools down!

Moving on to London, would a trip to Europe be complete without visiting the famous Buckingham palace? We certainly don't think so. Watch the changing of the guard and see the home of British royalty. And while you're there, we highly recommend taking the time to visit Tower Bridge. Overlooking much of London, this beautiful structure is a site to behold, and is especially beautiful at night. This bridge is over the Thames, and is actually a different bridge than the famous London Bridge. London Bridge is upstream, and equally recommended for a visit while you're there.

If you're able to make your way to Spain, head to Barcelona and see La Sagrada Familia. A church designed by the famous architect, Antoni Gaudi, using new and innovative designs for its time. Antoni died before it's completion while it was still under construction. In Germany, St. Michaelis Church should certainly be given some of your time. Take in the sights of Hamburg and its time honored traditions.

The British Royalty residential place called Buckingham palace is also one of the places to visit. On your travel to Europe, if it is ended without visiting this palace, where the queen of England lives, there is no meaning for your Europe trip. You will have a chance in august or September to visit inside the palace and you can see the particular rooms in it. - 29948
