Roam around the city: You can travel by any mode of you like, you can walk, ride on bike, board a bus, metro or tram which you shall find very convenient.

You will also forget the name of the bartender or barmaid of the little pub that you passed by. Or the phone number or address of the hunk or babe you met going to the boat or traveling to Greece or on the sidewalk of Paris. You know you had it somewhere, oh yes, there it is, you used it to soak up the water inside your pack from that water bottle you thought you closed that lid on.

Use Metro and Bus: Tram and bus services are excellent in Amsterdam and you may find them highly convenient when you travel to the city's outskirts. Amsterdam has two metro stations, one at Nieuwmarkt and the second at Waterlooplein and the bus stops are in good numbers too. Have a tram-ride: Tram services form the backbone of Amsterdam's public transportation and without a tram-ride, your travel in the Dutch Capital is never complete. Operating in 15 different routes, tram is its predominant public transport.
