Touring Southern Europe

Europe is unlike other continents where moving from one country to another becomes a headache as it involves a lot of formalities and other approvals from the officials of both countries. Europe is a continent which has been developed in such a way that all the countries are connected and can be accessed easily. Europe is a continent which is famous for its tourist destinations and visiting tourist can get confusing if you go unplanned. The whole European continent is completely different from other continents.

However it is possible to select a few among them which happens to be the preferential nations for their uniqueness. And the choice now is with Southern Europe.

As a point of reference, you can easily describe Spain, Italy and Greece as a ?European Miami.? The visitor that is seeking beautiful beaches, warm waters, Sun and fun will find what they are looking for here. Don?t forget the sun block! You will have no problem working on your tan here. While Croatia , also in this region, has recently improved it?s tourism prospects, it still has a way to go.

Most of the Southern parts are surrounded by the Mediterranean Sea and that?s why this area is famous for beaches and bikinis. Arabic influence was prominent in these parts of Europe once and the shadows can be seen in the buildings and the roads of the cities.

These Mediterranean sect are still with their memoirs of the past even though times have changed. They are not that much cordial as you wish. The rest of the countries in Europe are different from this behavior. No longtime connectivity could be maintained. But still Italy was acclaimed to be a tourism friendly country.

What is more famously connected to the Mediterranean than great food? This culture reaps the benefits of the sea. Their cuisine is said to be one of the most naturally balanced diets in the world. Spain and Italy are renown for their wine production.

When life is lived to it?s fullest, it sometimes leaves a mess. The cities of this reagion are not known to be the cleanest ones in Europe. The attitudes towards public spaces and that of nature tend to be more relaxed then other parts of the continent. This is something that should be expected when you visit shared public venues. Security is also an issue in this region, as compared to other developed parts of Europe. Direct physical violence is not usually the concern as much as the types of crimes that poverty brings. Keep an eye on your bags, hide your money, and avoid going out at night alone in solitary places.

Spain and Italy are very well connected in terms of airways. The flights are frequent and can be booked easily as the number of operating carriers is huge. One can travel to Greece from Italy by ferry service. Connecting flights are available which can help you in going from Spain to London.

Love to ski? Spain and Italy will give you a host of fantastic skiing opportunities. Boats more your style? You can take a cruise in Greece, touring the amazing vistas of the islands or see more by taking a Mediterranean cruise that will allow you to explore Italy, Spain, Greece, and sometimes Turkey in the same package.
